When I lived in Europe, I visited many incredible churches/cathedrals (even a few mosques LOL), so the coolness, serenity and sound of footsteps inside came flooding back.... You’ve managed to move DC up on my bucket list of places to visit.... Thanks for the tour and the history my friend. ~Robin~TheCrankyCrowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16314851714923955216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2649254129565958928.post-76847166951266852412019-04-07T21:43:09.451-04:002019-04-07T21:43:09.451-04:00Thanks for the tour. So much history and beauty. Last time I visited I got lost in Georgetown--walked several blocks in a beautiful neighborhood followed by one of the scariest taxi cab rides I have ever had in my life. We so need to experience such places to gain a sense of what is really important in life - it seems to me. I would light a candle with Annie too.
Marylittlemancathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17042609230502564280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2649254129565958928.post-57090159567053272472019-04-06T07:26:55.976-04:002019-04-06T07:26:55.976-04:00Wow! My late daughter Nicole used to visit all the cathedrals of wherever she went in the world and has countless photos of amazing architecture and carvings. Just breathtaking workmanship. Too bad people don't spend more time creating such beauty today instead of spending time destroying. Thanks for sharing your cathedral tour.

I like that Annie is lighting a candle. A good tradition.
Enjoy your weekend, Hugs, JuliaJuliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03423754263165266554noreply@blogger.com
