I love how your flower looks but you are the one who has to live with it. May I suggest you leave it until you finish and then see if you like it better? I've been...Oh boy, do I hear you about colors! I've been thinking that I may be "stuck" on the same colors as you, but those are the colors that make me happy. They are the colors I like in my house. I've been Pinning (is that now in the dictionary? LOL) and as I review what I've pinned I see a trend - dark backgounds - usually black, with golds, browns, darker blues, darker reds. I guess all my rugs will look alike! What will your flower look like once you have the background hooked around it? It will be interesting to see the result.
