...AND GREEN

As I mentioned in my last post, I really love red. I also love green...and the two together...WOW!

Is everybody in the decorating mode?

Putting things together slowly here, and loving all the red and green.

Enjoy the day,

I LOVE RED

I love red! Anything red...flowers, shoes, lipstick...will do. The wonderful doll above was created by Angela Hillstrom of Olde Raggs USA. I am lucky to own several creations made by this gifted folk artist. This little girl seems to love red too.

Anyone else out there love red?

Christmas is coming...lots and lots of red!

Enjoy the day,
Robyn

I live in Florida...but I am a Virginian...born there, raised there...right down the street from George and Martha's place...Mount Vernon. My home reflects my beloved Virginia...it's traditional. When you say you live in Florida, people think rattan and flamingos...not in this house (not that there's anything wrong with rattan and flamingos)...it's just not me.

There are many things to like about living in Florida (see above)...

...and outside it may look like this...

...but inside, it looks like this.

Enjoy the day,

Baskets

I have a collection of small splint baskets that I display on the bookcases in my living room. They are one of my favorite collectibles because each one is different, you can find them reasonably priced, and they add warmth to a room with their rich, natural patina.

Enjoy the day,
Robyn

Newbie here

The turkey has been eaten, the dishes are done and I have just started a blog. It is something I have wanted to do for some time and I guess all that tryptophan gave me the courage to go for it.

I enjoy reading so many of the great blogs out there, and decided to get in on the fun. I am just learning all this fancy stuff...so it will be slow going for awhile.

Hope everyone had a lovely day.

More later,
Robyn
