Bittersweet......

Bittersweet says Autumn to me. Even the tiniest sprig can summon the scents of pumpkin and cinnamon, and the antics of swirling leaves.

I put it around everything! Love the curly stems and bright berries!

I also have a thing for feathers...all year long. Together...they are the perfect Fall combo...add a little seasonal fruit...you can't beat Mother Nature!

Mustard, black and bittersweet...my favorites.

Can you believe the colors in these beautiful feathers?

Bittersweet....feathers...fruit......Mother Nature is always a good "go to" choice for a decorating consult...especially in the coming wonderful season.

Have a great week everybody, and thanks for coming by and saying hello!

Enjoy the day,
Robyn

  1. Good Morning Robyn, I agree, Mother Nature has the best goodies in decorating the home. I love bittersweet, always pick some at the lake and the feathers are so pretty. Great Fall pictures and post, enjoyed,Francine.

  2. I am with you Robyn. Even though I have 2 meager bittersweet plants growing in pots (can you believe they are here in the Mojave Desert?), I opted to buy some on the internet. When we relocated hubs dug them up for me and replanted them in pots. When we move into our new home they will get put in the ground. Can't wait. Feathers are lovely too and enjoyed your post.

    Have a Blessed week, Barb

  8. Love how your fall decor just keeps getting better...I can't wait to get unpacked and settled in my new studio so I can work on my COOPERAGE! I'm afraid it's been neglected. I'm living vicariously through your decorations!

  9. Now this is more like it....Sigh. Oh I love me my mustard, oranges, and blacks...and bittersweet and feathers. You have some gorgeous feathers....I found one a few days ago that looks like it has been dipped in gold...not just golden in color, but literally dipped. It glistened on the grass like a rare treasure. Never found one of those before. And....wow...amazing stone fruit collection. I agree with Lauren - the best collection I've ever seen. Lucky, lucky, you. Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
