July kitchen window

Sweet Land of Liberty...I love this print. I bought this Susan Daul print many years ago on a trip to Massachusetts. It's perfect for my July window...I get to watch these patriots march as I tidy up.

It's all about the words this month...liberty...America...Washington

We always have a lantern in the window.

Shooner  eagle...Turtlecreek plate

...flag & feathers...

The eagle...noble symbol of our land.

It's a dreary day here...rainy and stormy. We will be burning our lantern all day in memory of the brave firefighters who lost their lives while trying to protect others.  Such a sad, sad day.

Sweet Land of Liberty...let freedom ring!

Enjoy the day,
Robyn

  8. Hello Robyn, I've just recently found your blog and I've so enjoyed following along and getting to know you. Your warmth comes through each post. I just finished the La d da piece that you displayed in your window last month, I just need to frame it now. I love your July window! We live very close to David T. Smith's place, where they make their pottery, your pieces are lovely! Prayers for the families of those brave men who lost their lives fighting the fires!

  9. Hi Robyn: Love your patriotic window; you have such interesting pieces beautifully displayed! Yes, a sad day for all those young men killed in that horrible fire and their families. How to you explain what happened to Daddy to a young child? How do you keep it together to be strong for the children? I pray for strength for those remaining. Always enjoy your blog. {{HUGS}} Joy
