Georgia on my mind...

These are some of the sights we enjoyed today as we traveled through Southern Georgia. It was cloudy...with rain...and cooler as we drove through this Old Southern Lady.

Miles and miles of cotton fields line both sides of the highway.

This trip, the hotel is a winner...a real peach!

Travel Tip...did you know you can ask Housekeeping to remove the Mini Bar items...leaving a nice little fridge for your own use?

They sent up a complimentary"treat" for Annie. Very colorful!

I'll be back soon. Good Night from Atlanta!

Enjoy the evening,
Robyn

  3. Being from New England I had never laid eyes on a cotton field before that is until four years ago when Mr. Dog Trot and I drove to Alabama...I had my husband pull to the side of the road so I could cut a stalk. My Southern souvenir. Have a lovely trip, hugs to Annie. Julie.

  6. Oh Robyn...Thanks for sharing these pictures from Georgia!! We used to drive through there when we lived in FL and would take trips back to OH, but I don't remember ever seeing the cotton filelds like the way you captured them...and there isn't a better tasting peach than those that come from Georgia!! I bet Annie really enjoyed her special treat...looks like it was delicious!! Safe travels...Tina

  7. The first and last time we drove through Georgia was in the winter of 1966..... a long time ago.

How nice to have a little fridge to keep your food cool and a complimentary treat for Annie. I think that I would put the paper peach on the bed and eat the real peach.

Safe travel and enjoy your trip.
