Coral roses from my garden
Whew! We dodged another one here on the West coast of Florida. We had wind and rain, but nothing close to what we had anticipated. For that we are very grateful, and are keeping those on the upper Gulf Coast in our thoughts. Thank you for the positive thoughts sent our way!
These guys kept me busy.
And by last night they looked like this. These pins will be making their way to Dade City for the Autumn Gathering at Antiques on Main on September 8th.
I found some of last years bittersweet and added it to my mantle...I just couldn't wait!
The colors of Autumn....aren't they the best?
Hope your week is off to a great start!
Enjoy the day,
Robyn
I'm so glad that you were spared the hurricane damages. I just hope that my other blogger friends were spared too.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful tomatoes from your garden and roses too. I made a taste test with tomatoes bought at the super market and one from my garden that ripened on the vine and the one from my garden was so much tastier than the bought one.
Your little pumpkins are coming along well. It looks like you're all readyb for fall. I too love the fall colors.
Have a great week. JB
I'm glad Isaac left you alone for the most part. Whew! Love those pumpkin pins! Love your decorating as well. So pretty! Hope there is good autumn weather ahead!
ReplyDeleteGlad the hurricane didn't hit your area - they can be so devastating.
ReplyDeleteWhat adorable Pumpkins!!!
Oh I love Fall and I think most of us on the blogs do - what a warm feeling it gives. I wish I had saved some of my Bittersweet from last year - I had tons of it. Now I will have to be on the search for it come Sept. Oct but being it was a strange and early Spring/Summer I'm concerned that it might now know when to blossom!

Great looking pumpkin pins! Autumn is my favorite time of year. Time to relax and enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIt must be a huge relief to have that hurricane move away..... hoping all those in it's path are prepared and stay safe!
ReplyDeleteCUTE pumpkin pins! They will be a big hit for sure!
Your decorating is always excellent! This time of year is especially fun!
Those coral roses are so gorgeous..... I am trying to imagine how heavenly they must smell!!!

Relieved and thankful that you made it through Issac safely. I'm not a huge fan of wind, so I don't know how you Floridians deal with hurricanes and near hurricanes, etc. Obviously, your garden wasn't ravaged too badly - those roses are gorgeous....such an intense color. But, oh - those lil' pumpkin pins steal my heart. Love the stems you've made..... Wishing you a wonderful rest of the week! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
