Green is good.

Bronwyn and her cat Smudge are off to Dade City for the Autumn Open House at Antiques on Main Street.

She likes her frock made from early black and white flower printed calico. It's perks up her complexion and shows off her narrow waist.

Have a great weekend!

Enjoy the day,
Robyn

  4. Hi Robyn,

Bronwyn reminded me to watch the Youtube video of Kermit the Frog's singing, "It's Not Easy Being Green". It makes me smile every time I watch it. So glad Bronwyn is green.

I'm a little late in commenting, but I want to tell you how much I enjoy your monthly windows. I always look forward to them. I hope your shoulder is feeling much better by now.

I noticed your picture of the wee folk in the bowl. They are just wonderful. Is there a story behind them? It looks like they don't have legs or arms, right? I can just see all kinds of possibilities of making my very own set and naming them after certain people I know. I do truly love yours!

  5. Hello Diane...the wee folk in the bowl are my "Mugwump Woolies" dolls. I do,in fact, refer to them as "folk". I don't use a pattern, so each doll is different from the others. I add arms, legs and clothes. They are all hand sewn and I use antique fabrics. I make them large and small and sell them at my friend's antique shop in Dade City, Florida.
    Thanks for coming by!

    1. Thanks, Robyn. I'm sure they are all wonderful when they have their arms, legs and clothes. But you know, I kinda like them all sitting so close together without their appendages and clothing! Maybe I'm a little weird, huh?

  6. How on earth did I miss this blog post of yours? She is wonderful and love the green. Perhaps I've been so consumed by getting ready for rug camp that I missed it. Great job gal!
