...a little sheep

This small mat is a kit that Karen Kahle sells in her Etsy shop. It hooked up fast, and was fun and easy, and is, of course, a favorite subject for wool enthusiasts.

I have ordered some of Karen's fabulous marbled wool from her site, and am anxious to get started on her "Antique Lion" pattern. It is so wonderful...and so big! 26x51!!!

Thank you to those who left such kind comments on my last post. Annie now refers to her father as, "Famous Boy".

We have a busy week here...what happened to those lazy Summer days?

Enjoy the day,
Robyn

  4. Robyn,

My favorite kind of sheep - black faces and black legs. I keep telling my kids I'm going to have a few of them someday - my response is always eye rolling and "sure Mom".

How sweet of Annie to call her dad Famous Boy - what Dad wouldn't like that admiration?

I agree about summer flying by - it's almost the end of June....but I still have 2 months off from school - yeah!

  8. Very sweet little mat, Robyn. That's probably what I should do - something small and quick. Seems like I'm bogged down with Welcome Cats and think of anything else to do (punching, stitching, etc.) besides hooking these days. YIKES....26x51???!!! You're nutty crazy my friend! ;o) Hope it's a good busy....Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
