...red & green

I've been working on a few Christmas goodies. These wool pieces will be turned into pillows and will make their way to Antiques on Main...the wonderful shop where I sell my "stuff".

To make these designs, I took wool in hand and cut. I am always happy when the idea in my head falls from the wool. It is then hand stitched to the wool backing.

No pattern...just an idea...each piece different from the next. Now that's fun!

My poor Leo rug is sorely neglected these days. The red and green are taking over.

Welcome to my new followers, and thank you all for stopping by to say hello.

Have a great week!

Enjoy the day,
Robyn

  3. Very nice! Sometimes it is best to sneak in a few small pieces and then get back to the big piece.

  4. I love your wooly appliques. It's so nice to see some idea becoming reality. That's what creating is all about.
How wonderful that you have a place close by to sell your lovely creations.

    Have a wonderful week.

  5. Oh, say it ain't so, Girlfriend. As adorable as your new creations are, and as much as I am a big red and green fan, I just can't wrap my head around even Fall decorating, let alone Christmas! I know, I know....you designer types are always a season or more ahead....but yikes. Between seeing Christmas go up in the stores and this, I'm at a point where I just want to bury my head in the sand, leave out my red, white and blues, and come back next year say in May, and pretend I'm ahead!

Wishing you a wonderful week ahead as well....Smiles & Monday Hugs ~ Robin (PS - Did you see "Sister Thyme"???)
