It's raining. It started last night and has been going strong all morning. Living in a place where the sun shines three hundred and sixty days a year...I relish a rainy day.

Since our week began with the consumption of large amounts of chocolate, we thought it wise to eat a little healthier toward weeks end. My girl and I make these pizzas at least once a week. She is a very big fan of spinach...and mushrooms. In fact, she would rather eat spinach than chocolate...

...a perfect lunch for a rainy day!

This afternoon, I'll pop this in...and do a bit of loop pulling on...

...this fellow.

Thank you for the kind comments and encouragement I received from so many of you the last time I posted my progress on Antique Lion. I appreciate each and every one.

Tomorrow, I'll share my progress!

Enjoy the day,

  1. yummy, I'd love some right now!
    Enjoy your evening!

  2. The pizza looks great. I've never tried making one with naan bread - so simple!

  3. The pizza looks delish!! Your rug looks great!

  4. Your lunch looks so yummy! OMG -- I loved Les Miserables! I think I have to buy it for myself so I can watch it over and over. I just have to go for it. Can't wait to see more of your lion rug!

  5. 😄Hi Robyn, your making me hungry.....Happy Looping, Francine.

  6. Enjoy the rain! I'm sure you can use it.
I'm looking forward to seeing more progress on your rug.
    Hugs :)

  7. I've never tried pizza with spinach on nan bread but I've used sliced broccoli and mushroom quite often on a biscuit crust, it's lovely. It sounds like a very sensible daughter to like spinach so much instead of chocolate.

Have fun watching the movie and pulling hoops.

  8. Hi Robyn, enjoy your rainy day, I can see spring has arrived in your neck of the woods. Looking forward to seeing more photos of your lion rug, it's coming along nicely. Let us know your thoughts on "Les Mis", chocolate has been banned here at Dog Trot Farm, healthy sounds good!!! Happy Spring, Julie.

  9. I love pizza with spinach. LOVE!
I had a wonderful little spinach power salad at panera yesterday and told my daughter I love it more than chocolate now. Yes I confess to much chocolate last weekend.
Please share how the movie was.
Nothing like a good rain day!
    Woolie Hugs

  10. Sounds like a perfect afternoon! Yum, Spinach and Mushrooms!
We had an awful cold rain here yesterday. I hope that the sun will be shining today!

  11. Oh I missed this post last week...sorry.
Always love homemade Pizza...but never had this combination - I may have to try it.
Been raining here since Monday morning and I just now heard raindrops AGAIN!!! We have flooding in our town!!!
