And so it begins...

Here's a wee peak at some of the goodies I will be playing with this weekend. With Thanksgiving so late this year, and a little traveling in the coming weeks, I need to get busy or it won't get done.

I smell Christmas!

I did manage to get most of the crease out of this early sampler. Thanks for all the tips many of you offered...you are appreciated.

Are you in Christmas Mode yet? My turkeys and pumpkins and bittersweet are still center stage, but things green and red are popping up.

It's pouring rain and gloomy out...a perfect day for a cup of tea and some Christmas decorating.

Have a great weekend!
Enjoy the day,
Robyn

  3. I refuse to start on the Christmas decorating before Thanksgiving and every year make myself crazy (well....more crazy) in December. This year will be even worse with such a late Thanksgiving.
    What a wonderful sampler.

  4. I have been trying to fool myself that there is plenty of time before getting ready. HA! I started this morning planning the food for the holidays(both), and will do a little decorating for Thanksgiving, then on to Christmas. Love your sampler...reminds me I need to work some on mine.
Hope your weekend is wonderful Robyn.

  5. I love the peeks.
I have all my Fall things and Pilgrims out.
But I did start the houses I have collected since my gang was little on our built ins.
They are alot of work and we want to enjoy them.
But then I do Christmas the weekend after Thanksgiving!
    Woolie Blessings :)

  7. Hi Robyn,
I see more and more people are doing their Christmas decorating BEFORE Thanksgiving this year. I guess I didn't give it a thought that Thanksgiving is LATER this year so it makes decorating for Christmas shorter. I just may have to jump in and get mine going as well.
    Blessings,
    Karen

  9. I really haven't had much time to think Christmas this year yet but my daughter Christine is in high gear like I used to be when the kids were small.
    Happy decorating, you and Annie.
