Travelin' ...Morning has broken...

This was my view just a few minutes ago, and I had to share it with you.

I have been absent lately...you all know how that is.

We are in Amelia Island for a meeting. We usually come here in December so this is a new experience for our group...being here in the Summer. We are in a different hotel as well...it has Annie and I a little off our game. A little jaunt to our favorite places later today should help us get back on track...and we will be checking in on the wild peacocks that roam free on this small slice of paradise.

*******************************

Lately, I feel like my blogging has become blah, blah, blah. When I first started MW's Lori Brechlin told me just write about what I love and what interests me. Well, I am a stay at home mom that loves her family, her home and pulling a needle...or hook...and every few months I get out of town and get to order room service. That's about it. Not very exciting. But then I thought...I love to hear what everyone is working on...and about where they go...and see their collections and beautiful homes. It's what we would talk about if we were all in my living room just hanging out. Maybe it's not so blah, blah, blah after all. I've been thinking about letting my blog fade off into the sunset...but then I saw this extraordinary sunrise and I just could not keep it to myself.

Enjoy the day,
Robyn

  1. Robyn...
Blogs touch so many people in all walks of life.
Your inspiration and a glimpse of your creative life, while 'blah' to you, may spark someone else to be creative or enjoy their day on a positive note.
If you still enjoy writing - then write as it moves you.
They say "If you have a picture - then you have a blog post !"
    Love your sunrise. ;)

  2. Robyn, you live an exciting life according to what I see on your blog. I love everything about your blog. I love that beautiful Annie and your beautiful decors and the places you go, your wool crafts etc.

There is so much to share with friends on Blogger that I could never get bored of your blog.

We all need a little break from Blogger sometimes as life gets in the way but your Blogger friends will be there for you to lift you up when you feel down, because we've all been there at some times or other and sometimes we just need someone to share our joys, our surprises or even our silliness or hopes and dreams and sometimes even our uglies, lol...

You can share your talents, your faith, your fears and even your struggles.

I love your blog and always look forward to visit here and of course for your visit on my boring blog.

Bigs hugs for a refreshing good week.
    JB

  3. I love your Blogging. It takes me places I'll never go. We all blah, blah, blah and to me that's what connects us to each other. Punchin and my studio keep me close to home. Thank God there's enough activities here for two life times. I venture down to Chicago as often as I can to get my City fix. Will post more photos from there. Perhaps a companion to your sunrise, one over Lake Michigan!
    Keep on Bloggin,

  7. I enjoy your blog Robyn. I think we all feel like we sometimes don't have anything major exciting to report, I know I feel that way a lot, in fact I don't blog as near as much as I used to but I do enjoy all my blogging friends and reading about them and would really miss them if they weren't there. So keep on keeping on! Your picture is beautiful! I find myself wanting to keep staring at it!

  9. Robyn, I would be so sad if you let your blog fade away. I never find it boring or blah. I always feel the love that you have for your family, and the beauty you find in things around you. I will understand if you decide to stop, but I do hope to see you continue. Enjoy your stay -- hope the new time and hotel put some excitement into your life and not too much trauma.
