Little things

I like the little things that make a house a home....the details....the icing on the cake. The photos and kids art on the fridge, family portraits and sentimental items scattered here and there, a special wreath on the door that hints of what's to follow once that door is opened...details tell our story.

These are photos of the master bath "details".

These are the small things that make me happy when I glance into this room. This is not a bath "suite" that a family of four could live in and barely cross paths...this is a small, functional room...one with great details, if I do say so myself.

The details around here this morning are hardly appealing...box of tissues, jar of Vicks Vapor Rub, and copious amounts of orange juice.

Fill me in on your "details"...I'll be here on the couch all day.

Enjoy the day,
Robyn

  5. Well Hello Missy Robyn!!! So very pleased to make your acquaintance! I saw your insightful comment on my blog this morning and came over to visit....And I'm loving what I'm seeing!! Think I found me another kindred spirit!!! (Certainly didn't hurt being greeted by those wonderful little Putz sheep in your header and that amazing sheep's head drawer pull...Girl after my own heart!) I'm so looking forward to getting to know you better. Sorry it's taken so long to track you down, but I can't always access my followers....just another point of frustration with Blogger some days....Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

  6. I surely can sympathize with the couch sitting..whatever this "thing" is that is going around, it is a mighty force to be reckoned with. I'm in my second month, but finally improving.
The rug is beautiful BTW. :D
