We have a family of rabbits living in our Confederate Jasmine bush. They have raised lots of baby rabbits right here, in our little slice of suburbia. They are a constant source of entertainment for us...at all hours of the day and night. We put food out for the squirrels, and, on occasion, the rabbits join them for an evening snack. When the squirrels got "squirrelly" and raced around, the rabbit...in these photos...jumped a foot off the ground. We were delighted by the show.
...a bluejay dropped by for dessert...
Mostly, they hang out in the backyard and eat the rabbit food we put out for them.
Are you my mother?
This wonderful hare can be found on The Mall in Washington, D.C.
Keep your eyes open for critters.
Enjoy the day,
So cute! Love that pic of the squirrel on the chair -- lol! We had some rabbits multiplying up the hill from us for a while. I don't see them anymore though. :(ReplyDelete
That is a great statute!! Love your photos Robyn....but, yikes! You feed rabbits and squirrels? I think they are cuter than the dickens, but I'd be carted off to the health care center if folks in these parts thought I fed the critters...(but the bunnies at least are well-fed by my so-called garden.....) ;o) Smiles & Hugs ~ RobinReplyDelete
Robyn, that is so sweet about your baby rabbits. Everytime they have ever tried to build a new here , the dogs get all their babies :( But I guess enough must survive, because there are still rabbits around.ReplyDelete
I haven't seen a wild rabbit in a long time in our area.ReplyDelete
Love that statue.
Love all your pics (as always!), especially the squirrel in the chair. Too cute!
Pug hugs :)
Love the pics..too cute, but we have about a million squiirels that live in the oak trees and another million rabbits in the wild blackberry bushes...so we do not feed them. That statue is awesome. Thanks for sharing! Take care, JaniceReplyDelete

Love the squirrel chair - where did you find that? I have to have one for my guys..been feeding them for years - think it's time they had a chair. Please let me know where you found this.
Welcome, Cathy! The little green chair is from Lowe's several years ago. Hope you are able to find one...it provides lots of entertainment for the squirrels and us!Delete
